Ko mātou ngā rangatira o inanahi Ko Kōmanawa ngā rangatira o āpōpō
Tēnā koutou e te whānau o Kōmanawa. Nau mai haere mai ki tō tātou whārangi ipurangi.
Kōmanawa
Cultural Narative:
Many whānau may have noticed that all Hāpori/communities have specific names on the entrance of all buildings pertaining to the waterways of Ngāi Tūāhuriri.
We were very fortunate to be given the name Kōmanawa which is a spring. We liken the spring to our akonga and their journey with their te reo māori and growing into young rangatira of tomorrow.
